The Fire Officer Training Institute, INC. offers all the necessary classes for taking the Fire Officer I and Inspector I Series. These classes are required by the Florida State Fire Marshal's Office in order for you to sit for the Florida State FO1, Instructor and Inspector Exams.

All Public Safety Professionals can take these classes; Firefighters, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Police Officers, and members of the US Military are all welcome.

All courses offered by the Fire Officer Training Institute, INC. (F.O.T.I.) seek pre-approval from the Florida State Fire College Standards Division before they are offered.

Please note that F.O.T.I. courses are now scheduled by class. We require a minimum of 8 students per class. Please contact FOTI via e-mail or phone to set up a class at your department. After we are contacted, we will put the class up on our website for your students to register and submit payment. We will use your classroom to conduct the classes. Travel expenses will be incurred for classes outside of the immediate TampaBay Area, these fees will be added to per student costs.
